We recently had the pleasure of creating the identity for Everson Royce, a new retail wine store in Old Pasadena. Started by Randy and April (two of the owners of Silverlake Wine) and their buddy Joe, they specialize in boutique wine, spirits, and beer from around the world, plus excellent, friendly customer service. Stop by this weekend and enjoy a glass of vino at the bar. The first thing they told us was that they didn’t want a traditional wine shop logo. NO burgundy, NO metallic gold, and if we included any wine references, they should be very subtle. If you’re not paying attention, you may never spot the hidden wine glass in the logo.

As an added bonus, we got to work with Ana Henton of MASS Architecture, who did an incredible job designing the space. (She kicks some serious design ass.)
